Ahed Tamimi Speaks Out ππ£
Remember Ahed Tamimi? The Palestinian activist with the unforgettable piercing blue eyes? As her captivating image resurfaces, it carries with it a plea for justice that cannot be ignored.
πΈ Flashback πΈ
Ahed first captured our attention at just 11 years old, raising her tiny fist against a fully armed Israeli soldier in an attempt to protect her family.
However,
Ahed's journey didn't stop there. At 16, she faced an unjust 8-month sentence in an Israeli prison. Her crime? Slapping a soldier who had shot her 15-year-old cousin in the head with a rubber bullet during a protest.
π Dark Days Return π
On November 6th, 2023, she was arrested again during a night raid on her home in the West Bank. No charges were made, just a chilling return to the familiar walls of an Israeli prison.
Recently released from Israeli prison, Ahed discloses the harsh conditions endured and stated that 30 female prisoners remain unjustly incarcerated. The details include:
π€ Daily torture and beatings
π° Deprivation of water, food, and clothes
ποΈ Sleeping on cold floors
π¨ Constant threats to their families
UPDATE

Bisan's Urgent Message π±π¨
After tirelessly documenting her life for the past 60 days, Bisan, a courageous soul in the heart of Gaza, has posted an alarming message on Instagram.
π’ Caption: "I no longer have any hope of survival like I had at the beginning of this genocide, and I am certain that I will die in the next few weeks or maybe daysβ¦"
Bisan shared the harsh reality of life in Gaza. She is currently grappling with severe health issues, shared by many in Gaza.
π Health Crisis in Gaza π
Beyond the immediate physical threats of the ongoing genocide, the people of Gaza are entangled in a web of intense indirect health impacts. Factors that contribute to this health crisis:
1οΈβ£ No Access to Safe Water: The water infrastructure is damaged, restricting access to clean water. This increases the risk of waterborne diseases like cholera, posing a severe health threat.
2οΈβ£ Crowded Living Conditions: Gaza's crowded living conditions hinder social distancing. This amplifies the risk of respiratory infections such as tuberculosis and measles.
3οΈβ£ Limited Healthcare Resources: Damaged facilities strain medical resources, limiting access to necessary care.
More people could die from disease than from bombings in the Gaza Strip if the health and sanitation systems are not repaired.
