🇵🇸Another Palestinian genocide? Just be quiet🤫
How muslim women are silenced in a land of free speech....
Innocent blood is spilled, and the frantic cries for help of babies as well as the voices of those seeking justice fade into silence. Palestine, hidden in the shadows, is held captive not only by physical restraints, but also by the silence of the world.
Here's what you're in for ☕:
You’re fired: Pro-Palestine? Beat it!
In hot water: Nabela Noor’s controversial post.
Facing fire: From supermodel to activist.
Clashing actions: From meals to missiles.
Healing hearts: One verse at a time.
KEEPING UP

Label Ends Contract with Palestinian Singer Over Her Support for Palestine 🇵🇸
Nemah Hasan, popularly known as Nemahsis, claimed that her label dropped her for being pro-Palestine.
They attempted to silence her and instill fear regarding potential loss of future business opportunities before making their decision official.
In a world where countless influencers often tread cautiously, hesitant to jeopardize brand opportunities by remaining silent or neutral, Nemah took a stand and stated, "I won't compromise who I am for anyone."
Here’s what's jaw dropping… 😳
When Nemah stepped into her label's office before signing her, they cranked up the song "Dammi Falastini," which means "My blood is Palestinian," seemingly as a grand gesture of solidarity.
CONTROVERSY

Nabela Noor’s Instagram Post
Nabela Noor's Controversial Stance 🤔
Nabela Noor, a Bengali Muslim influencer, found herself in hot water when she seemingly oversimplified what’s happening in Palestine. Expectations were high due to her Bengali roots because:
Her ancestors survived a genocide during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War, which began as a conflict between East (now Bangladesh) and West Pakistan (now Pakistan) but tragically escalated into a genocide, killing around 3 million Bengalis.
Bangladesh is one of the 28 United Nation members that does NOT recognize Israel.
Her using the word "conflict" was a major issue. To describe what many deemed a full-blown genocide as a mere "conflict" was like comparing a tornado to a gentle breeze.
The backlash came like a tsunami, sweeping her posts off the digital shore, leaving Nabela labeled as a "sellout," adrift in a sea of criticism.
Nabela’s comeback 🫣
Nabela removed her post, and made her intentions clear by stating that her primary concern was the safety of citizens, especially children.
She also shared her uncle's story, a freedom fighter who lost his life in the Bangladesh Liberation War, emphasizing that she never intended to be insensitive or unsupportive of the people of Palestine.

Bella's on Fire 🔥
Despite being told to steer clear of politics at a young age, especially when it comes to Palestine, supermodel Bella Hadid is on fire when it comes to standing up for her father's homeland. As a consequence, she faced a wave of criticism.
“I really do believe that if I started speaking about Palestine when I was 20, I would not have gotten the same recognition and respect that I have now. I had so many companies stop working with me. I had friends that completely dropped me, like even friends I had been having dinner with at their home on Friday nights, for seven years, like now just won’t let me at their house anymore.”
Nonetheless, she remains firm, insisting, “I have done my education enough, I know my family enough, I know my own history enough. And that should be enough.”
HOWEVER,
Instagram appears to be putting a damper on her activism by shadow banning her Palestine-related posts, leading Bella to publicly call them out for the apparent censorship. 📣
